I've been meaning to make a new journal entry since the start of this year but didn't get to it yet. I don't really have time now either but since it's Free Premium Membership Day and I get to use a journal skin, I have to do it finally.

So, last year I had ups and downs both with art and personal life. I started making soft pastel portraits. I made my first acrylic canvas paintings. I made more India inspired mixed media portraits. I sold my first painting. I also started doing crafts more and I made a blog. Towards the end of the year I wasn't active with art anymore.

This year I also got my first Bachelor's degree (yes I'm dumb enough to take two of them). My niece was born. I had an amazing vacation in the summer. On another note, the whole December was a pretty dark month for me. The darkest of my life so far.

To recover from that I want to do new things and come up with new dreams for my future. I've already started Postcrossing and snail mail penpalling. There's a trip to Madeira in the horizon. And who knows what else will happen. (:
